To mark the 2020 World Water Day, at a time the entire globe is suffering COVID19 pandemic, Rotary Club of Makurdi Sunrise took an awareness campaign to some public places, including Saint Theresa’s primary and secondary schools, Makurdi. At the visit, hand washing materials were distributed for improved hygiene as the world battles COVID 19.
The President, Rotary Club of Makurdi Sunrise, Theresa Ogbaje-Omale said ”Rotary Club of Makurdi Sunrise carried out a project on water, sanitation and Covid 19 sensitization at St Theresa Primary and Secondary Schools, Makurdi, where items including buckets with taps, liquid soaps and hand sanitizers were distributed. This is our modest contribution and we intend to do even more collectively and individually, in the coming days to help stem the ravaging pandemic.”
