Nigerian Bar Association Secretary Survives Auto Crash
The Nigerian Bar Association Makurdi Branch Secretary, Polycarp A’ande Esq, survived an auto-crash on the 2nd day of May, 2020 along Mobile Barracks-Welfare Quarters Road Makurdi , Benue State. The NBA Secretary who also doubles as the Chairman, Catholic Lawyers Association of Nigerian(CLAN) said he was on his way to conduct a due diligence on a property with his client when the accident occurred. He stated further that he could not explain the circumstance that led to the accident as he was not speeding when the car cornnered into the bush. He thanked God for sparing his life and that of his client. He also appreciated family and friends who responded promptly to his distress call. Particularly he thanked NBA Chairman, Makurdi Branch, Job Ishember and his EXCO, the Chairman, St Mary’s Catholic Church Genabe, Simon Tyoakosu. Others to share in the appreciation are Terlumun Mee and Bem Tsukwar among others.
In a statement, NBA Chairman Job Ishember and his EXCO thanked God for sparing the life of the Learned Scribe of the Bar and prayed God to replaced the losts. As at the time THE TRANSMITTER visited the victim to investigate the cause of the accident and the state of his health, he was doing well. Though his car badly damaged.
