NBA Ilorin Branch Names Sporting and E- LIBRARY After Yusuf Ali and Lai Adeboye

Earlier in the Month of May, The Nigeria Bar Association Ilorin Branch commissioned sporting and E-library facilities for the use of the NBA members at NBA Ilorin House, G. R. A Ilorin the Kwara State Capital.
The sporting hall houses the NBA Gym and E-Library sections. The facilities were commissioned by the Chief Judge of Kwara State Hon. Justice S. D Kawu. While the Sporting hall is named after Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali SAN, a Legal icon who is a sports’ lover and donor of the multimillion naira gym equipment, the E- Library is named after Late Lai Adeboye the 8th Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Illorin Branch, who died twenty years ago.
The occasion was attended by dignitaries including the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Kwara State, Alhaji Salman Jawondo and John Bayeisha SAN among others.
Mai Akande the NBA Ilorin Branch Chairman earlier, while welcoming dignitaries at the commissioning said the facilities will provide a conducive environment for research, virtual court proceedings, online and remote meetings for lawyers. He said the facility is the first of its kind in Nigeria and commended the Learned Silk for the opportunity.
Mallam Yusuf Ali, SAN is known for philanthropic work not only to the Illorin Branch, but across Nigeria, supporting the development of education as well as hospitals and the aged.
