AHEAD OF MEGA DECAMPING TO PDP IN NAKA, HON. ACHABO EMBARKS ON LAND CLEANSING

Ahead of the MEGA DECAMPING CEREMONY of members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other political parties in Gwer West LGA, November 21, 2021, into the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), the Special Adviser to the Benue State Governor, Bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ken Achabo Esq., was in Naka, the headquarters of Gwer West Local Government to rid the area of political debris left by APC from the ruinous engulfment of it’s last strongholds from the several factional groups by the PDP, under the able leadership of Hon. Prince Simon Aondoana Adaga Mtom Ph.D.
Hon. Achabo who was accompanied by a covoy of PDP members, including new entrants, decampees and observers, could not hold his joy, when he saw the massive love and support of his people. The adviser went round strategic places to purify the land and inspire residents to keep faith with Governor Samuel Ortom and the PDP for Peace, stability and development in the land.
After the rally from Naka Rice Mill to the Local Government Secretariat, up to Tsa Settlement Area through LEA office to the PDP secretariat Naka, the Special Adviser spoke without mincing words. He told Tyoshin people that Gwer West is PDP, and that no other political party has the voting strength to win elections in the Local Government. He cited results of the last (2019) general elections where PDP won in 87 polling units out of 90. He said, with the recent massive decamping of APC members, even the 3 polling units they won at the mercy of God will be won by PDP this time to score 90/90, achieving 100% victory at the polls.
He reinterated that the PDP does not discriminate between old and new members as there is nothing like “WHERE WERE YOU, WHY NOW? He added that, whoever comes to PDP is fully recognized and accorded equal rights to opportunities and privileges to work for progress, success and development of the party.
The Bereau Chief, appreciated the decampees for chosing life (PDP) over death (APC) and urged them to make sure none of their relatives is left.
Hon. Achabo thanked Governor Ortom and his wife the First Lady Dr. Mrs. Eunice Erdoo Ortom, for appointing Tyoshin people into key positions to help run his government. He appealed to Gwer West people to sustain prayers for Governor Ortom, to succeed in defense of Benue land against herdsmen who have killed thousands of farmers.
Barr. Achabo reminded Gwer West people of the Mega Decamping Ceremony coming up on Sunday 21/11/2021, and encouraged them to come out enmass to give the Governor and his entourage a heroic welcome, marking the END of APC in Gwer West.
In separate comments, the PDP State Youth Leader Hon. Amb. Patrick Modom, Coach Godwin Uwua, Hon. Francis Ayagah, Elder Bernard Utim, Gwer West PDP Party Chairman, former PDP Women leader, Chombu Tarnongo and Godwin Chile, all thanked the decampees for taking the right political step.
The Stakeholders also appreciated Gov. Ortom for laying down his life to defend Benue against killer herdsmen to end incessant bloodshed so as to bring about peace, stability and development in the state.
