BENUE APC YOUTH COUNCIL INAUGURATES ZONAL AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXCO
In line with the Council’s objective of positioning the youths for effective participation, the Benue APC Youth Council today in Katsina Ala Inaugurated her Zonal and Local Government Excos in Benue North East (Zone A).
The Inauguration which took place at Katsina Ala recreational centre was attended by youth across the seven local governments areas of Zone A.
Speaking to the newly Inaugurated executives shortly after oath of office, the Chairman of the Benue APC Youth Council, Comrade Tersoo Washima informed them of the support they were to provide to the party while reiterating that the Council was a support group and not an arm of the party. He charged them to remain disciplined, loyal and committed to activities that would enhance Mobilization for APC ahead of 2023.
Comrade Washima asked the Council Chairmen of the local governments to immediately commence the registration of new members at their various local govts even as they work towards constituting ward and polling units coordinators of the Council.
Those who spoke on-behalf of the Council, Comrade Terungwa Nunde, Thomas Kende, Adah Ochojila, Mrs Mlumun Gever all decried the poor leadership offered by the PDP in Benue and assured Inaugurated members that the constitution of the Exco was deliberate and aimed at helping the party achieve victory in 2023.
Responding for the Executives, the Chairman of Kwande local government Mr Emmanuel Akade his Vandeikya counter-part, Mr Moses Andoor, the zonal legal adviser Mrs Mercy Dzugu and Katsina Ala women leader Ms Chor all expressed happiness and pledged to work with other members to achieve the objectives of the council.
