President General Mdzough U Tiv Worldwide, Chief CP Iorbee Ihagh has today, drawn the attention of the privileged people in Benue State to the unfortunate situation of their brothers and sisters living in the internally displaced persons camps all over the state.
The PG stated the need of reaching out and sharing love in his Yuletide facilitation address to the good people of Benue State.
“On behalf of my family and members of the Mdzough U Tiv Executive, I heartily rejoice with the Executive Governor of Benue state, His Excellency, Dr. Samuel Ortom and his dear wife Dr. Mrs Eunice Ortom (First Lady of Benue state), HRM Orchivirigh Prof. James Ortese Iorzua Ayatse (Tor Tiv) and his amiable wife Prof. Mrs Felicia Ayatse (Ngo U Tiv), the Tiv traditional council, Wantaregh Paul Unongo, Speaker BSHA Rt Hon. Titus Uba and all members of the BSHA, Chief Judge of Benue State Justice Kaka’an & his judges, Chief Judge Federal High Court of Nigeria Justice Terhemba Tsoho, Sen. Dr Iyorchia Ayu (PDP National Chairman), Minister for Special Duties & Intergovernmental Affairs Sen. Dr George Akume, Sen. Dr Gabriel Suswam, Sen. Orker Jev, Sen. Barnabas Gemade, Prof. Richard Anande Kimbir (Vice Chancellor Joseph Saawuan Tarka University Makurdi), Prof. Tor Iorapuu (Vice Chancellor Benue State University Makurdi).

Chief Ihagh while wishing all Tiv people a merry Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year in advance, called on Christians to promote the essence of Christmas by spreading joy and love throughout the feast of Nativity and not forgetting the over 1.5 million IDPs in Benue state displaced by killer herdsmen.
He advised the youths to shun all forms of criminal activities that may truncate the reason for the season just as he has called on motorists to take caution while driving by obeying traffic rules, avoid drinking before driving, over speeding and always fastened seat belts for cars and helmets for motorcycles. He also charged the populace to observe all Covid-19 protocols during the festive season to curtail the Omicron virant which is underway.
He further encouraged the fourth (4th) largest ethic group in Nigeria to maintain peace and unity amongst themselves during and after the festive season.
