Achabo Provides Peace Resolutions For Warring Commercial Motorcyclist

Benue state special adviser, Bureau of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ken Achabo, has recently summoned a meeting at the Ter Tyoshin palace, in Naka, in order to resolve the internal conflicts among members of the Benue State Motorcycle Association, Gwer west chapter.

The meeting which was presided by the Ter Tyoshin (II) HRH Chief Daniel Ayua Abomtse JP held that, “a new executive should be lawfully constituted, and the caretaker committee led by Mr. Agber Joseph, should hand over to the new executives, latest Friday this week.
“The new branch established within Naka (Naka branch II) should cease operations, pending investigation by the Ter Tyoshin to examine the acts and procedure of establishing a new branch, as contained in the articles of operation of BEMOA in the state.
“Both groups must sign a pack to ensure peaceful conducts of their daily activities, and any act of breach to peace must be sanctioned appropriately.
Also present at the meeting were: the Gwer West local government chairman, Hon. Mrs. Grace Igbabon, Naka Divisional Police Officer, SP Mamud Abubakar, Special adviser to the governor on security, Hon. Clifford Bogo, and two traditional rulers: mueter Raav, and mueter Mbakpa.
