“It is a tradition that whenever any of us losses a relative, we must all gather to encourage him or her, this is why we have come to identify with one of us today”, he said.

The chairman said that the association caters for the welfare of its members, as it gives out financial aid to them whenever they are in dire need of financial assistance, without asking for refund payment.

Speaking, Mr John said he is happy over the condolence visit but regrets he could not give his late mother all the love and care he had wanted to give to her while she was alive.

“My mother was 93 years old when she died, and she was a great woman, who gave birth to five children and trained them to become great also,” he said.

Although a condolence visit, the occasion was lively. Members joked and laughed amongst themselves; there was enough to eat and drink for everyone present.

UJOR KI DOMA comprises the staff of Benue state High and Magistrate courts, lawyers, and judges of Idoma origin.
