No Outsider Can Influence the Outcome of Governorship Poll in the State – AONDOAKAA

Chief M. K Aondoakaa, SAN
Chief Michael Aondoakaa, SAN, a leading governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has laughed off claims that his familiar exchange of pleasantries with the party’s new National Chairman, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, during the visit of the party’s leader, Senator Dr. George Akume, was anything implying endorsement as claimed.
Aondoakaa, who accompanied the Hon. Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, along other governorship aspirants in Benue state, declared that no outsider can influence the outcome of governorship poll in Benue State.
“An outsider influencing the outcome of the Governorship election in Benue State is something I strongly believe cannot happen. We are far too bright and sensible to sit by and watch anything like that unfold. I don’t believe the people of Benue have entirely lost their will,” he said.
With other governorship aspirants in sight, the former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice questions how anyone could manufacture anything serious of that magnitude out of his brief meeting with the National Chairman.
“I understand that supporters and admirers of governorship aspirants go all out to make strong arguments in favour of their preferred aspirants, especially now that time is running out fast. If that’s not the case, how could anyone reason that way if they were not feeling insecure?,” Aondoakaa said.
He advised supporters and rumour mongers to spend their time promoting the track records and blueprints of their preferred aspirants as all aspirants have equal chances of winning in 2023.
