LAFIA WEARS A SPARKLING LOOK AS TINUBU TOUCHED DOWN IN NASARAWA STATE

Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital was Agog on Wednesday June 25, 2025 and the city wore a new look.
The development was informed by the visit of the Nigeria Number One Citizen, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Lafia the State capital to commission some legacy projects carried out by the administration of Gov. Abdullahi Sule.
The President arrived at Lafia airport by 1:55pm via Nigeria Air force 5N-FGT 001 and was received by Gov. Abdullahi Sule alongside critical stakeholders of the State both those within and outside as well as some Governors.
Hundreds of residents, schoolchildren, and political supporters lined the roads chanting slogans in support of both President Tinubu and Governor Sule.
The One Day Working visit of the President saw Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital beautify with beautiful paintings, pictures, banners and other side attractions.
Similarly, students and other citizens with uniforms and different attires were seen along major streets and roads the President is passing through to give him a rousing welcome.
Mr. President was in town for the major engagements and was accompanied by the APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Governors of Niger, Benue, Kwara, Kaduna, Imo, Ogun and Barno States, Ministers, Senators among others.
It was reported that five different private jets aside the flight of Mr President landed at the Lafia airport, and that on arrival at the airport, the President inspected a Guard of Honor.
