GOV SULE URGES TIV APPOINTEES TO BUILD BRIDGES ACROSS BORDERS
Nasarawa State Governor, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule has urged his appointees of Tiv extraction to deepen unity and foster stronger ties among themselves and with their counterparts across state lines in the interest of regional and national development. Engr. Sule made the appeal on Tuesday evening while receiving a solidarity delegation comprising Tiv appointees in the state.
The delegation was led by Engr. Moses Otondo, former President of the Tiv Development Association (TIDA), Nasarawa State, and currently Special Adviser to the Governor. Engr. Otondo, speaking in agreement with two other past TIDA presidents present, Hon. Solomon Pevkyaa and Hon. Peter Ahemba, commended Governor Sule for his inclusive leadership. He emphasized that the Tiv community in Nasarawa State has never enjoyed this level of participation and representation in governance as seen under the current administration.
Engr. Otondo further called on the governor to remain focused and undistracted by the narratives of individuals he described as misinformed about developments in the state. He reaffirmed the support of the Tiv people for Governor Sule, noting that his policies and appointments have fostered a sense of belonging among the Tiv populace in Nasarawa. A vote of confidence was also unanimously passed on the governor by the delegation.
