Dear President Muhammadu Buhari

Upuu Nguher Jeremiah Esq
THIS IS TIME FOR YOU TO BE PROUD AND YOU MUST ACT FAST FOR THE INTEREST OF THE NATION.
Your Excellency, many people who would vote for you if another election were to be conducted today are amongst those who have flooded our streets to demand an end to SARS and Police Brutality.
In the Course of this protest, young Nigerians have shown their ability to conduct themselves peacefully even in the face of provocation from touts. Young Nigerians have drawn global attention to the menace of police Brutality and have become a model for young people in Africa and elsewhere.
In the Course of the protest, young Nigerians have kept politics and ethnicity in abeyance and have made their agenda very clear and unequivocal. They have equally resisted the urge by some politicians to move from #EndSARS to #BuhariResign.
Right in front of National Assembly, the leader of the #RevolutionNow group Omoyele Sowore was asked to leave as he was not wanted there.
So I beseech you to resist the urge of thinking that this protest is targeted at ridiculing you and your government. Police Brutality is a global menace which has been with us right from the colonial days.
Many well meaning Nigerians have come out to call on young Nigerians to sheath their swords by suspending their protests as government has shown readiness to heed to their demands. I share this view too and I must appreciate your government for showing such readiness.
However, your failure to frequently engage the youth has not really helped matters. It is important that you always engage the people even through televised broadcast without the need of going to the streets to address them. Without this, even if you have sleepless nights working to find a lasting solution to their yearnings, they may not know how concerned you are. We call on you to address Nigerian Youths and we also appeal that you expedite the process of ensuring that their demands are met.
This is the time for you to identify with and be proud of the young people of this country for their resilience, patriotism and maturity. Other countries are envying us for the quality of our young people and it will be out of place if we fail to celebrate our young people.
While looking forward to your televised broadcast, I wish to state again that this protest is not an anti-Buhari protest. It is a pro-Nigeria protest and we are determined to see a Nigeria where young people can go about their legitimate businesses without being harassed, intimidated and without receiving a bullet in the head from people who are paid to serve and protect us.
Thank your Excellency.
