BIPC ANNOUNCES TWO CSR PROJECTS … requests partnership of radio BENUE
The Benue Investment and Property Company Limited -BIPC has announced to carry out two corporate social responsibility programmes in partnership with the Radio Benue Corporation.
Managing Director of the Company, Barr. Alex Ter Adum, PhD made this indication Tuesday during a courtesy call on the new Director General of the Corporation, Charles Iornumbe PhD.
Adum maintained that the company will sponsor a ‘School Challenge Programme’ that featured school quiz competition and made waves in the yester years of the station, saying that the company will sponsor such quiz to give the Benue child the needed attention.
Barr. Alex also proposed a radio programme “investment clinic” that would inform BENUE people about investment opportunities and strategies, stating that such programme is capable of turning them from passive onlookers into investment enthusiasts and icons.
Responding, Director General, Charles Iornumbe PhD appreciated the company for identifying with him.
He commended the gesture and said the corporation was ready to partner the company in reintroducing the school challenge programme.
Dr. Iornumbe also gave approval for the proposed investment clinic assuring the corporation will not relent on the mandate of informing BENUE populace.
The new DG pledged unalloyed support to the governor of BENUE state and appreciated him for approving the procurement of transmitters for the station that was the major constraint of the station.
A technical team of six member committee was constituted to fast track the process of implementation on the CRS projects.
