BENUE STATE SGBV POLICY IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE TAKES ADVOCACY TO MUSLIM COMMUNITY

The First Lady of Benue State, Dr. Eunice Ortom is key to the advocacy in the state. According to her Media Aide, at both interactive sessions, worshipers were enlightened on what is SGBV, its propellants and possible ways to tame the menace. The audience were also enlightened on reporting channels like SGBV Care, Cervical Cancer as well as the dangers of child labour and and underage marriage.
The Committee also erected bill boards with GBV targeted messages in strategic locations across Makurdi, the State Capital.
