ACHABO ASSURES GENERAL HOSPITAL NAKA OF SUPPORT FOR IMPROVED QUALITY HEALTH CARE SERVICES

Special Adviser to the Governor, Bureau of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ken Achabo today paid a familiarization visit to the Staff and Management Committee of General Hospital Naka, Gwer West Local Government Area.
The special Adviser who was received at the hospital by the Admin Officer Mr. Nyamve Ande, on behalf of the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Edward Abicha, was conducted round the facility to access it’s current status with a view to help the management give it a facelift with improved health Care Services.
After being conducted round the hospital, Hon. Achabo thanked the management for their relentless efforts in making sure the people of Gwer West have unhindered access to quality health Care despite their social economic standings.
In his words, “this is the biggest facility in the Local Government and indeed the entire Benue state which has being on ground providing relief for the many people desiring quality health care”. Assuring that he would continue to support and stand by the hospital anytime his attention is needed.
Hon. Achabo also went round to greet patients admitted in the various wards, supporting each with a token to aid their medical bills, while management staff and corps members serving at the facility were also given some cash for apprection.
He added that all requests brought to him by the management would be attended to in due course, especially those within his jurisdiction of authority.
Responding, the hospital secretary Mr. Victor Orya and Chairman Hospital Management Committee Mr. Ikyoto who spoke on behalf of others appreciated the Special Adviser for his prompt response to the hospital’ s request for a Scan machine, and further presented demands to him for more assistance to enable the facility stand out among other competing health centers in the Local Government Area.
Mr. Orya said, a free Ultrasound Scan services will be carried out be the hospital for residents of Gwer West in honour of the Special Adviser as a mark of honour and appreciation for his invaluable contributions to the development of the general hospital.
Other management and committee members including Chief Abela Aloysius, Elder Sylvester Ugbede, Hon. Ucha Agbadi, serving Corps Members, etc. all thanked Hon. Achabo for his support to the hospital, and prayed God to reward him abundantly.
