The story of Pastor Paul Mshimkohol Choombu is one of encouragement to men of his ilk and a pillar of hope to the destitute. The Christ Faith Bible Church Man of God has decided to use actions rather than words to make life better for people within and around him.
One recent case in point was the Christmas gift of wheel chairs to some Persons with special need in Daudu, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State. In a special service attended from people across different denominations, the Man of God said it was always his wish to do something he can help alleviate the suffering of human beings, especially those with special needs or are victims of crises.
Pastor Paul organizes football competitions yearly to bring the youths Daudu environs together as he encourages them against social vices like drug abuse and cultism and prostitution and homosexuality. Hundreds of youths participate in this programme on yearly basis and they say their lives never remain the same.
Remarkably, about 12 years ago, Pastor Choombu established Bright Thoughts Schools Daudu for children who are victims of herders/farmers crisis taking shelter in Daudu and environs. With very meager resources, the school has developed to a standard approved by the Ministry of Education. Bright Thoughts Schools have graduated students in the Nursery, Primary and Secondary School sections. The school has become famous in the area for its humanitarian services and is tuition free for the less privileged.
