KARTYO, UKUM CHAIR INAUGURATES DEPUTY, SUES FOR COMMITMENT TO ATTRACT DEVELOPMENT
The Ukum Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Kartyo Tyoumbur has formally inaugurated his Deputy – Hon. Solomon Akpaaku, Friday.
According to information gazzeted by his media aide- Kolough Clem, Hon. Kartyo sues for diligence, focus, hardwork, honesty transparency, dedication and commitment from his number two man, in an occasion graced by staff, families, friends as well as PDP party stakeholders in Ukum.
The honourable chairman further said that, Hon. Akpaaku’s choice to deputize him was a divine call; to join forces with him, in service delivery to Ukum people.
While also congratulating his deputy, the chair reiterated his administration’s readiness to change the narrative for good.
The erstwhile Ukum NUT boss maintained that, the primary responsibility of every government is to provide quality service as well as dividends of democracy for the people.
In his speech, Hon. Akpaaku appreciated God Almighty, Senator Gabriel Suswam, Dr. Richard Gbande, Hon. Kartyo Tyoumbur and other stakeholders of the PDP for the care, love and support, during and after the elections.
He promised to support Comrade Kartyo in all ways possible to succeed, as he pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him at all times. The deputy also enjoined party faithful to eschew acts that would instigate division between them.
In his goodwill message, PDP Chairman for Ukum LG, Abraham Utôv expressed optimism in the team of Kartyo and Akpaaku. He said the party will support the team for the success of their tenure.
The oath of office was administered by Chief Magistrate M. A. Dekeh.
