While Ms JahRose Nthabiseng Jafta from South Africa was a resource person at the Writers Roundtable, Prof Egara Kabaji from Kenya was the Chair of the 2025 CANEX Prize for Publishing In Africa.

In addition, the PAWA President, Prof Bill Ndi and the Secretary General, Dr Wale Okediran were Panelists at the AI Masterclass and Publishers Roundtable Sessions respectively.

In addition to several side line events where the PAWA members interacted and networked with participants from the Creative Sector, the Association also made a modest presentation of some PAWA publications to the National Library of Algeria.

The Library which was first established in 1835 by the French colonial government later became the country’s national library when the country gained its independence in 1962.

Above picture showed PAWA’s Secretary General, Dr Wale Okediran making the book presentation to an official of the Library, Mr Ouman Yacine.
