Yusuf Ali Holds 8TH Annual Lecture Leads Health Walk

In his desire to complement the role of government, Yusuf Ali SAN has put in Place the Yusuf Ali Annual lecture which holds annually. This year’s theme is ‘SECURITY IS EVERYBODY’S BUSINESS.’ In his presentation, he emphatically stated that our individual cooperation with security agencies will compliment their efforts and thereby curb insecurity and criminality to the barest minimum, if not totally eradicated.
Some of the Legal icons who attended the annual lecture were J. O Olatoke SAN, J. S Bamigboye, the Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association Ilorin Branch Mai Akande, some Judges from Kwara and Osun States as well as lecturers of the Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin.
The untiring Learned Silk on the 21st day of March, 2020 also led a seven kilometer health walk. Yusuf Ali SAN through Yusuf Ali Foundation has done a lot of charity works like award of scholarships to indigent students in secondary and tertiary institutions; wells and boreholes to communities, medical financial assistance; development of literary awareness in secondary schools all over the country in collaboration with the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA).
Dr. Charles Iornumbe, a Former Chairman of Association of Nigeria Authors, Benue State confirmed that Yusuf Ali in his quest for literary awareness in secondary schools all over the country donated to ANA the sum of N3, 000,000.00.
Also in a telephone interview, an Ilorin based legal practitioner Abdulrasheed Awolade said Yusuf Ali SAN is known for his philanthropy and will stop at nothing to make sure the needs of people are satisfied, especially those of the less privileged and people living with special needs in the society.
