HAPPY PALLIATIVES WEEK NIGERIA

The level of bad governance at the state level is alarming and most unfortunate.
But we have condoned it for far too long and there are no indications that we are willing to make amends for the overall development of our states and our nation.

We are more concerned with partisan politics of APC against PDP. That is why in most of the states in the eastern part of Nigeria and the South-South, the People’s Democratic Party remains the best party and whoever emerges as the party’s flag bearer knows that nothing will stop him from winning. The APC and their candidates enjoy this same privilege in most of the states in the North while the North-Central States have internal factors that always determine who gets what when and how. The south west is more of a battle ground but APC is more favored in the region.

Now, both the APC and PDP governors are dishing out bad governance and insensitivity in very epic proportions. The hoarding of COVID-19 palliatives has shown the people that most of these governors are evil at heart.

There is simply no justification for anyone to hoard perishable food when majority of those who are to be given the food go to bed hungry. It is pure wickedness.

That is the same way and manner the other social investment programmes of the Buhari administration are being mismanaged by state focal persons who are appointed and supervised by the State Governors.

In many of these states you see people worshiping and singing hosanna in the highest for their wicked governors, yet you see them saying the meanest things about the Federal Government. I am constrained to say that Hajia has been vindicated by the discovery of the hoarding of COVID-19 palliatives by wicked State Governors. God will judge everyone by their actions.
People are suffering a lot in the hands of these governors due to non payment of salaries and pensions and their failure to provide basic amenities. While their political hallelujah boys are quick to call on the Federal Government to fix Federal Roads in the State, State capitals cannot boast of motorable streets. The worst is seen at the local governments as local government chairmen can hardly boast of any project worth a hundred million because the governors cannot allow them to breath.

For those who have conveniently hidden these palliatives and are yet to be bursted, I hope that you enjoy your palliatives with your families and political associates, but remember that no evil will ever go unpunished.

Happy palliatives Week Nigeria.
