NIGERIAN BAR ASSOCIATION ILORIN BRANCH COMMISSIONS SPORTING AND E-LIBRARY FACILITIES

The Nigeria Bar Association Ilorin Branch Thursday the 14th day of May, 2020, commissioned sporting and E-library facilities for the use of the NBA members at NBA Ilorin House, G. R. A Ilorin the Kwara State Capital.
The sporting hall houses the NBA Gym and an E- Library section. The facilities were commissioned by the Chief Judge of Kwara State Hon. Justice S. D Kawu. The Sporting hall is named after Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali SAN, a Legal icon who is a sports lover and donor of the multimillion naira gym equipment. While the E- Library is named after Late Lai Adeboye the 8th Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Ilorin Branch who died twenty years ago.
The occasion was attended by dignitaries including the Attorney –General and Commissioner for Justice Kwara State, Alhaji Salman Jawondo and John Bayeisha SAN among others.
Earlier, the NBA Ilorin Branch Chairman, Mai Akande while welcoming participants at the commissioning said the facilities will provide a conducive environment for research, virtual court proceedings, online and remote meetings for lawyers. This is the first of its the North Central Region of Nigeria.
